Considering there are 3 other Indian restaurants to compete with on the same block (including one right next door), the newest addition to the Woodley Park Indian restaurant "district" can definitely pull its weight. Our server was very open and friendly...other than that, the food was good and reasonably priced.

City Paper Review

I'm a native New Yorker who traveled to DC on June 3. Looking for someplace to have dinner I wandered into Little India on Connecticut Ave in the Adams-Morgan neighborhood. I had the best appetizers (Pakora, Samosa and Bhujia) I've ever had in an Indian restaurant (and I've been to dozens in New York). What a treat!

superior!

Great food, great people! Best restaurant in DC! And very reasonably priced, especially for the size of the portions.

GREAT,funky little place we became regulars at on our honeymoon. Nice waiters/operators, good food (no samosa's are better!) Just a short walk from Omni Shoreham where we stayed . They were very friendly & fun!

After spending the entire morning walking around museums, we needed to find lunch.  My husband recalled that Adams-Morgan had lots of restaurants...The staff at Little India sat us down quickly at one of their outdoor tables and I was so happy that I was gonna get to eat soon...They did not disappoint.  Water came out right away.  Menus were distributed right away.  The waiter stood discretely to the side while we looked over the menu and came over immediately when we put the menus down.  Great service!

The food came out pretty fast. .. had the eggplant dish and it was soooo good.  It could probably have been more spicy (I did ask for it medium, so next time, go hot) but at the same time, I am glad that the food was not so spicy that I could not devour it right away.

The naan was fresh and yummy.  I stole a few bites of my husband's chicken dish and that was delicious as well.

They provided plenty of rice and refills on water.  Overall, the food was great and so was the service.  I was definitely skeptical at first, but they proved themselves to me!

It was a wonderful experience. The restaurant seemed really busy, but the service was still wonderful. We had a great time. The atmosphere was wonderful.
